Morning Workshops (9:00-12:00)

Introduction to Data Analysis with Python

Join our workshop for a hands-on introduction to Python programming and data analysis. Ideal for beginners, no prior experience needed. Learn data cleaning, analysis, and visualization techniques using a library-related dataset.

Coding Qualitative Data: The Methods (using your Mind) and the Mechanics (using Taguette)

The workshop begins with a “mini-methods” talk about qualitative research methods, data, and analytical coding. Participants then apply the mini-methods knowledge by hands-on coding an interview transcript collaboratively using Taguette, an open-source qualitative research tool.

Let's create data schemas!

Join us to learn how to use a new and easy data schema writing tool - the Semantic Engine.  Bring a dataset and work with us to create a data schema that can be stored, shared, edited, and uniquely identified.  Learn how to encourage and enable your researchers to create data schemas at the start of their project.
